Privacy Policy

Last updated October 11, 2026.

This policy explains how Venholt ("Venholt", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit venholt.com or use the Venholt member service.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
  • Onboarding information: country and state, broker preference, investing experience, goals, time horizon, support preference and execution-mode preference.
  • Portfolio information you provide: holdings you upload by CSV or enter manually, such as symbols, quantities, average cost, currency and dates.
  • Preferences: AI configuration limits and alert settings.
  • Communications: support requests and contact-form messages.
  • Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used for security and reliability.

What we never collect

We do not ask for or store broker passwords, broker verification codes, Social Security numbers or identity documents. Identity checks happen directly with your broker. If you send us any of these by mistake, we will delete them.

How we use information

  • To create and secure your account and keep your onboarding progress.
  • To show portfolio analytics and save your preferences.
  • To provide setup assistance and respond to support requests.
  • To send essential account messages (verification, password reset, security, billing).
  • To send optional product news only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time in your profile.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Venholt (hosting, database, authentication, email delivery and payments), under obligations to protect it, or when required by law. Broker connections, when available, will happen only after you explicitly authorize them.

Access controls and security

Member records are restricted so that only you can access them. Venholt staff access account records only when needed to support you, and portfolio data only with an operational need. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting and security purposes. You can delete portfolio snapshots at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile, export or delete your portfolio records, and manage marketing preferences in your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us to make a request.

Children

Venholt is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the revised date above. Material changes will be communicated to members.
